The powder liner makes for a smoother application and the thin, angled brush allows you to create better lines. I love the fact that it goes on in one even stroke. With the pencils you have to do several, smaller strokes which pulls on your eyelids and makes them painful.
The downside to this product is the huge mess. Obviously this is to be expected because it is a powder.
Here are a few tips if you plan on using this eyeliner: Protect your clothing. Do not apply any other make up until aftewards. That is just incase of any spills. Otherwise you'll end up having to start all over. You'll need to have a cleanser on hand. Do not use water alone to fix the problem as this only causes the mess to smear.
